Well I don’t blame them for not loving the hire but the means of railroading it were pretty shitty.

Are you jelly that they are on the 6th or 7th choice and nobody wants this job? Are you jelly that they will end up with someone less qualified than the guy they fired? Are you jelly that their program is currently a train pulling flat cars full of flaming dumpsters that has lost its brakes and is headed towards an asylum full of AIDS-ridden zombies?

Good for the fans that didn't stand for it.

They turned the hire from Butch 2.0 to Dooley 2.0

UT fans screwed the pooch, though. Too many coaches are now rejecting the job. It’s toxic at this point.

That said, I believe Pete C was USC’s 7th choice.

DAMN who woulda thought that Clay Travis OF ALL PEOPLE would have the impact he has had regarding college sports concerning Tennessee and the upheaval over Schiano last weekend? I mean, the dude's just an ex-practicing attorney(I surmise he's still licensed) sports analyst with his Outkick the Coverage website who I PERSONALLY had never heard of until his "boobs" segment on CNN recently. This is something else yaw.

12mil buyout as coach

You realize this basically drops everyday right? If next season goes off the rails it's much easier to let him go than it was this year.

If only Schiano had talked like one of them.

You shouldn't be jealous until you see who they end up with. Unless they end up getting Kiffin, chances are it'll be someone worse than Orgeron.

I applaud their fan base as well for standing up.

It's only the jock sniffing, groupthink national media guys that are railing them for the Schiano thing.

Fans have a right to speak up.

Yeah I could see a small stupid arse portion of our rant fan base doing the same. Ruin a man with unproven allegations to get your way. Pathetic

This. Fans/students should ultimately have the power.

I like how people keep saying allegations like it's some rumor. Court testimony, under oath, directly named him as being involved in kid rape.
