Would love to see what PJ Fleck could do in Florida at an elite school. He would crush recruiting there most likely.

Chip Kelly Is the first call I make

Then I'd say
Chris Peterson-doubt he leaves westcoast but make him say no
Bobby Petrino - character issues but one of the best play callers in CFB Imo
Coach Mullen-knows the program
Sterlin Gilbert- did a great job at Texas with a Fr QB. Worth a look
PJ Fleck
Last calls and these are not great, id like to see what they could do with more talent.

In no order, yes its come to this
Mr Im 40
Dana Holgerson
Kliff Kingsbury

Doesnt seem to be able to play to the strengths of his players

Unless this changes, he wont last long

Damn son, yall are ready to get rid of a coach who killed it last year with Boom’s recruits? That is crazy.

Yeah...the thing about that is his own recruiting is substantially worse than Boom's -- he signed 4 of the top 50 players in the state of Florida and is on track to do so again.

Here's a more in depth post on why we can't really wait beyond the end of next year with Mac:

Currently Maryland has as many of the top 25 players in the state of Florida as we do committed.

With Mac its not a fight between us and FSU or even us and Miami- its a fight between to see if Florida is better than out of state schools in its own state, that's how horrible a recruiter Mac is- FSU is first choice, then Ohio State, then Miami, then Florida/Bama/Clemson all fight it out- with Florida usually taking the lower profile recruits and missing on the blue chippers. This isn't an exaggeration, look at the 247 composite Top 50 in the state of Florida from 2016- Mac's "bump year" usually a coaches best class until he wins a conference or national title:

FSU signed: #4, #8, #11, #19, #24, #30, #34
Miami signed: #13, #18, #23, #27, #28, #33, #36, #37, #39, #43
Clemson: #10, #12, #31
Ohio State:#2,#17, #25, #41
Ole Miss: #1, #29,#47
Florida signed the #6, #9, #22, #26

All but 48-50 were at least 4 star players.

So basically we signed the 4th best class of players from the state of Florida!

In Mac's bump year we had the 12th best class nationally- behind 6 teams either in the SEC or on our annual schedule or both.

The Gator fans are absolutely batshit insane, man.

We had three True Freshmen rotating in the OL, no kicker (we held tryouts for a walkon, a girl even showed up), literally no quarterback after our #1 and decent receivers. It's amazing that we got anything accomplished in the first year.

A lot of Gator fans just don't understand that we're not that good -- substandard recruiting (Muschamp absolutely did not have a top 15 recruiting class his final year, he had the 21st and was 10th in the SEC) and Muschamp had no idea how to turn talent. Meyer left him the #1 class and he struggled to bowl.

Mac got the #21 recruiting class and got the East championship.
