Supposedly, they have begun to talk, and the numbers could be something like for 4 years for 2.5 million. Clemson has told him that he'll be fired if he doesn't win the ACC next year, but he thinks his team will be good. He is leaning towards taking the Arky job.

Don't really know how solid the source is (so this is not a gurantee by me), but I guess we'll see soon enough.

BTW, congrats on Miles staying and the win tonight.

Running Nutt off was a HUGE mistake by Arky that is gonna hurt the program for years.

I think the relationship between Nutt and the fans was strained too much to keep it going. We'll see if it hurts us later but it had to be done.... good coach or not.

This'll add new meaning to our match up with Arky if Tammy goes there.

Nothing like following in Danny Ford's footsteps!

I have heard nothing about Bowden to Arkansas. Not saying it won't happen but he wasn't even mentioned on the short list.

That's Terry -- surely he's not on our list.... but it wouldn't surprise me either.

I think that would be a very good hire for Arkansas.

I still think Mike Shula was a good coach at Bama. Why not him?

They've got much higher aspirations right now... we'll see how it all plays out.

I hear Curley Hallman is looking for a job. He is getting tired of selling insurance and used cars.

I don't know what I'll miss the most: the barely over .500 SEC percentage, the crappy bowl record, the poor recruiting, the crony/nepotism hires, etc. Where oh where to begin???

I understand that many of our SEC brethren believe that Nutt is the best we can do, but most of us Hog fans don't think so.

Time will tell for sure, but I personally believe that we are one good coach short of becoming a player in the SEC. Nutt was NOT a good coach

Doc as much as you may not want to agree, but the situation in Arkansas is just as it was for LSU prior to Emmert and Saban coming here. Too much outside politics.

I think that's very true. Let's just hope for our sake that noone in ArKansas realizes that.
