Agree. Completely overhyped.

Oh, so the transitive property doesn't work for teams that play one another in the same season. But, somehow going from the USC Trojans to Ole Miss Rebels in different years should?

Hot uninformed, reactionary take.

So you want to hire a DL coach who is the worst coach in Ole Miss history?

Over some of the idiot choices brought up by some of the idiot posters on this board, yes I would prefer CEO. I don't want Lame Kiffin anywhere close to the LSU program and for someone to want Tom Herman as HC of LSU is just idiotic.

Well that is definitely one man's opinion, probably literally only ONE man's opinion, but you are entitled to your own opinion. I am just thankful that anyone with any type of intelligence will understand how absurd that statement is and people at LSU are just intelligent enough to know that.

Then whats the point of you throwing his coaching titles and rings have to do with this if those things dont count? Yall are quick to call Herman a fraud based upon a few games but hild O up on a pedestal and forget the years of his failures. Fair is fair

Is anyone saying otherwise?

O should be down the list of LSU's choices...that's no shocker.

And you have garnered a different opinion from watching the Houston Cougars this year? His team is playing on TV right now in case you haven't paid attention this season.

The actual reason you hate him so much...

He is a good mid-major coach and a good OC. Nothing more.

And you know this how? He's never been HC at a major football program.

Look, if you don't like the guy for personal reasons fine, but you really have no clue of what he could do at a bigger university with more talent.

I won't try to tell you he is guaranteed to be goat or lsus savior. Honestly, i think he ends up at Texas because jimbo just seems like who we end up with based on the pieces of the puzzle.

I mean can you at least defend your statement of why is nothing more? How do you know when he hasn't had the opportunity to show it. Yes he could flop, but what makes you KNOW he will.

Never heard of any with Jimmy Johnson or Dennis Erickson. Boosters and Pete Carroll were implicated in the USC deal where a player lived with another without paying rent. Coach O was not mentioned in the USC investigation as it was not related to recruiting but extra benefits to players who were already there.

Miles had a pretty impressive body of work at LSU. Arguments were look at the trend... in a sport of what have you done for me lately!!!

Now all these "emotional" favorites want to cherry pick things as to why "their" guy should be the next HC!

Knee jerk emotional hire is the last thing we need.

I said the transitive principle is said to not work for football teams that play each other in the same year. but for some reason you want to apply it to associate the USC Trojans to the Ole Miss Rebels in different seasons. Got it?

Where did I say I had forgotten any of O's past? Show me please. I got up really early and may have forgotten.

by the way it is 21-3 UCF AT Houston with 1:14 left in the first half.
