According to which recruiting rankings? The recruiting rankings don't prove one is better than the other. How could they?

None of those will be open.

USC's admin is more fricked up than LSU's right now. LSU is a better job than them right no
LSU's firing of Les Miles may not have been ideal, but USC is the last place able to criticize LSU. Look at how they dealt with Kiffin and Sark, who were legacies from Pete Carroll's staff. Getting rid of Helton after one full season won't exactly dispel any motions of dysfunction in the Athletic Department.

I think if they think a big time coach will come there and they know he is on board they will dump Helton like a bad habit.

Really?

So if Notre Dame goes 4-8 they will keep Brian Kelly?

If OU goes 6-6 they will keep Stoops?

USC is 1-3. Good luck with that

ND was 10-3 and went to the Fiesta Bowl last year. He'll get a chance to turn it around.

OU was in the CFP last year.

USC coach is in his first year. This is the most likely to be open of the three.

Just my opinion, much like yours is just your opinion. Take a deep breath.

Interesting...even when given the opportunity to dismiss his interest, he didn't.

coach-speak. He has to say that.

What's he supposed to say - "yes, I think it's great that LSU is interested and I can't wait to talk to them"??????

I guess he just has to say it:

"I will not be the LSU coach next year"

...dear lord...just say it...

Barring abysmal seasons by all of these schools I don't see that many major programs deciding to fire their coach in the same year. They would all be competing for the same guys.

ADs know this and that's why I think it will be unlikely to see more than one of these schools jump on the coaching carousel. I think it was an unusually smart move on the part of Alleva not waiting.

Also, I believe that Les Miles might be offered one of these positions if they open. I could see him at Notre Dame. Even possibly USCw considering the turnover there the past 5 years.

He said he doesn't want to talk about it. Then proceeds to talk about it. Lots of words in what should be a simple point to make. VERY interesting.
