I think Notre Dame Job will be open
I think USC job will be open
I think the Oklahoma job will be open

Others will too but I think those are IMO the big jobs that will open.

Uhhhhhh recruiting?

You would still have issues in that area if Miles was still the coach at this time.

I think LSU is the easiest to win at today. But, they are all fairly equal and will come down to a coaches preference if they are truly open

Herman better learn to coach with distractions like this because his name is going to be linked to every single potential coaching vacancy out there.

He's the hot name in CFB. That's how this shite works.

The Longhorns are about to enter the teeth of their schedule and so far they're getting by BARELY.

Charlie Strong will likely be fired if he doesn't show significant improvement and that leaves the Texas job wide open.

Really?

So if Notre Dame goes 4-8 they will keep Brian Kelly?

If OU goes 6-6 they will keep Stoops?

USC is 1-3. Good luck with that

Miles's recruiting never really dropped off. His play on the field dropped off, but his recruiting was top notch till the end. Only one coach in the SEC did better and he is the GOAT.

And even if Miles did suck at least he could offer kids what the future will be. No coach at LSU can make a promise that they will even be around in a year that anyone would believe. In 2016 kids commit to coaches more than they do to programs.

Y'all can believe what you want but every team near Louisiana is licking their chops to take a run at your commitments and targets. I know on our side the hat is being passed around big time to enable our coaches to take every trip possible to take advantage of the uncertainties at LSU.

There is a reason most teams wait until the end of the year near a recruiting dead period to fire and replace coaches. Having an open job for months on end can't be spun as a good thing in recruiting in any way.

Their coach is in year 1. People keep forgetting they had a coaching search last year

Forgot to add Auburn to that list. Auburn job will probably be open.

I was speculating on the others.

Eh, is this really any different than having a dead man walking as a head coach?

he's 100% correct but he better get used to the spotlight. he just needs to handle it better than ranting about it. like it or not those media annoyances are called "hounds" for a reason.

According to the recruiting rankings, yes it is different.

Uh yes. Mack Brown for example was getting into elite recruit's homes right up to the last day. Coaches like Mack and Les even on the backside of the career have a name prestige that "Interm Coach O" doesn't have. I mean uncertainty is one thing, firing is the opposite of that.

Strong is 13-15 at Texas and it's going to get worse. Damn the denial is strong here
