It's too early for him to say anything now. Hopefully we would hear something by December. Dear Santa, I have a wish, it's Tom Herman.

Lol, you dont think he likes 7mil/year and 1mil/year for his coordinators?

Lots of teams can pay that. LSU handled the Miles firing poorly. I'm sure he's not interested in getting involved in that right now.

It was much better the way yall fired Chiz. Keep him the entire season. That way, you know the season cant be saved and you go 0-8 in the SEC

7 million a year for a coach that doesn't even have two seasons under his belt?

Wonder if he felt the same way when Houston was doing the same thing while he was the OC at O.State during their run to the N.C.?

Who else could pay that right now that has a current opening? Granted there are a few schools that could pay that but I wouldn't say "lots of teams". Besides last I checked Alabama and Texas still have coaches. Don't be mad because Auburn is paying for Gus and Gene right now and therefore can't afford an additional 8 or 9 million a year.

Here goes delusional LSU fans thinking the LSU HC job is the best opportunity in the world...

Jesus, the state financial issues, dysfunctional university administration, you got problems.

Somebody is going to give it to him. Tilman Fertitta at Houston may give it to him. Might as well be LSU.

From a link on the Tiger Rant, the Big 12 presidents will be meeting on Oct. 17 & league expansion is undoubtedly on the agenda. As well, it only takes 2 out of the league's 10 coaches to reject any proposal. Okie's president is now on record as being against adding Houston. UT's alum base has always looked down their noses at Houston, going back to the days when Houston kept trying to get into the old SWC. Houston does not get admitted, Herman's attitude will change drastically.

Canning a coach early in the season has an advantage: you have more time to look for the right coach.

What do the state financial issues have to do with football?

Football doesn't use state money.
