Via his twitter, Tim suggests that King and Alleva botched the Jimbo negotiations (I assume he means last year) and that Jimbo is NOT coming to LSU. He seems absolutely sure of this. Also says the fact that LSU is still considering O indicates that they were never prepped for this process (because, according to him, Herman and Jimbo were never coming here). How credible is Brando on topics such as this? Again, he seems to be absolute in his certainty.

Well you can always look on the bright side with rumors like this. We will not have to look at F. King or Alleva anymore if true.

He did say Miles would get fired if he lost to Auburn like two weeks before the game. Not saying he knows shite about the coaching hires but he was correct about that

He made a really good assumption based off the tension everyone had at that point in the season. I think he's giving his 2 cents on rumors going around that O was seriously a candidate. Either way, he can choke on a dick.

in general, Tim Brando has got a problem with LSU and it seems he takes joy in our misery. he's an arse. not sure why he's so mad at us. he's not an alum and he was turned down for a job a while back. he takes every chance to zing anything LSU.
as far as your question regarding his credibility, no one really knows. the man, i'm sure has his sources just from his position and length of time on the scene. doesn't mean his sources are worth a shite. BUT, he has no fricking idea if Jimbo is coming to LSU or not. he's just doing what he can to thwart LSU. he is NOT a credible journalist at all; he's a loud mouth has been.

Brando is personally a huge LSU fan. He has been in the know for a long time. Knows the people to talk to and they trust him. He has credibility.
