Except the last 10 years LSU was good at recruiting before O.

There is nothing to defend here.

Yep. Alleva/LSU have to essentially be perfect in all future coordinator hires for Orgeron to work.

Are the recruits even that good? We've been seeing "top 5" recruiting classes for years now and lose 3-4 games a year

Didn't Alleva say a few years ago something along the effect that he cares more about graduating and developing young men than championships?
