in the Texas job. Not sure what that means but I have seen their comments, would you want a Super Bowl Champion coach or a coach that looked a like the current coach did 4 years ago.
Hoping the increased level of Herman discussions are linked to this information making its way to the Orangeblood site.

That would be a great hire. I'd be jealous, I wanted him at SC last year

Not a chance. Harbaugh played at Michigan and the Texas job is a huge downgrade at the moment.
Are you thinking of Jim Harbaugh?

That's a home run type of hire and John Harbaugh has definitely floated his name for college jobs in the past. It's not out of the blue.
Having said that I think it's a very long shot.

John, the HC of the Baltimore Ravens, NOT JIM.

Why would you leave a good team in the NFL for college? I don't understand

They can have John Harbaugh. His offenses are terrible. Will basically be what LSU's offense was under Cam Cameron and Miles. Good luck to them. They may end up with a good defense, but to be successful in the Big 12 you need a good offense.

Ozzie Newsome has had several really bad drafts in a row. He may not be around much longer. Joe Flacco appears to be on a decline & he was never great. The Ravens are close to a complete rebuild. Maybe Jim tells him how much more fun he has at the collegiate level.
*Edited Ozzie Newsome, not Smith.

Same money, less stress, better lifestyle, not having to deal with pro athletes, bigger name and appreciation, job stability if you can do anything

But with an NFL job you don't have to worry about recruiting.

Why did Jim Harbaugh do it?
