If they bring him back for another year good luck getting a good recruiting class. Talking about firing Miles before the last game of the year is one thing discussing firing a guy this early is on a whole other level.

typical Texas

Meyer is going nowhere

Saban is going nowhere

i thought you'd learned your lesson when you had to dip to TULANE's baseball coach bc Mainieri was going nowhere

pretty much. It's impossible to know what their actual list is since they all so oblivious they don't realize statements like this make them look comically stupid

true, but Iowa State is awful and Baylor needed a FG at end to beat them.

Herman IS their short list. They are going to send out feelers to gauge his interest. They're not going to fire Strong unless they know that Herman is a done deal.

Sounds like the Lsu circus last year. Good luck with that.

I do not know if a final decision on Strong has been made. I suspect it has. And, I suspect he is gone.

Texas has a few unstable rich boosters holding the program by the nads. They're still living in the 1960's.

He's a goner after this season if he makes it through. I imagine these boosters are pumping Herman's people on a daily basis.

What? Texas just lost in Stillwater for like the second time ever. They look awful on defense, especially in the secondary

Guess we're all pulling for Texas and USC to turn their seasons around, eh?

Their recruiting has improved under Strong, but that's about it.

That's about 75% of the battle in college football. Don't try and downplay it either.

I don't disagree. Wasn't trying to downplay it at all.

, never wanted a HC from Louisville

What? Those people sound ignorant, and this is the arrogance of Texas that makes them easy to hate.

They act as if Louisville is some peasant program unfit to even step on the field with their own. Louisville knows how to hire coaches ten times better than Texas.
