Sorry if this was brought up already but it can only help the odds of us landing Herman.

How many schools have to vote yes in order for them to expand?

Regardless. Houston football atmosphere sucks. Ya'll watched that game. If we can't beat out Houston for a coach then we should just pack it in.

It's not Houston we have to worry about.

Why are these schools voting no?

A TV contract is on the line. I'm confused right now Texas is eating and the rest of these schools are scrapping up the residue.

What is the thought process?

I'm not sure either. Maybe they're worried that Houston will come in and destroy them all and take their recruits?

That seems to be the reason for the no vote. What does UH bring to the table? They'll dominate the Houston TV market with or without UH.

Yea, that's probably it. They probably want to expand outside of the state of Texas.

That now makes TCU, Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma, and OkieSt. Way to crap on Tom Herman.

Come on over, coach. We're rolling out the red carpet for ya.

your gonna lose to louisville, so there'll be no playoffs for you to plan for this year.

Oklahoma resident here.

The truth of the BIG12 expansion is that TV networks (believe it or not) are offering MORE money to all of the schools if it decides to not expand.

Don't know the rationale behind that to tell you the truth but, it is becoming more and more likely that 8/10 schools will say no rather than yes

That's just my assessment of the situation at this time. Things could change

Houston isnt getting in. The question is if they are letting Tulane and another not named Houston in.
