Tulane should definitely go with the wide open air raid style offense. Start attracting those 2nd tier NOLA kids at the skill positions.

I've been told TCU co-OC Doug Meacham has taken the Tulane HC job. Three-year deal

So you have pretty well respected guys tweeting this right now, but Tulane is denying and saying they are interviewing people tomorrow.

Hmmmm

Was given bad info. Meacham is out recruiting for TCU as this is being typed. Not the new Tulane coach

So Meacham appears to be definitely out and a completely false rumor.

Dannen is in NY and there is a coaching thing going on their right now. Guys like Lincoln Riley and Kendal Briles are there right now (along with many others).

Would've been a good hire. A little disappointed to know it won't be him. I would feel a little better if I heard some candidates

Tulane now runs the risk of the actual hire being a letdown.

Although I have to say, Meacham being 51 and never a HC at any level didn't seem to fit the mold to me. Definitely think it's a young hotshot Coordinator or a small school Head Coach.

bringing the triple option to New Orleans could be interesting

Fritz would be a home run for sure.

And not a triple option guy. Ran the spread at Sam Houston.

Yea, doubt he'd run the option here

Explain how it would be a homerun? I'm honestly ignorant. Looking him up I wasn't too impressed.

55 years old, has never worked even as an intern at the major college level. His record is pretty good.
