Mark Passwaters - This is as clear cut as it gets. Passwaters is the late 90's Clippers. His incompetence and lack of sources is not only accepted, it is a foregone conclusion.
3. Jeff Tarpley - tarp is the living embodiment of going 7-5, so you could argue he should be first in this A&M related power ranking. But I refuse to be gimmicky in this. Tarp is sour, contrarian, never overly emotional, and incredibly negative, cause that's what happens when you spend every Saturday of your life watching A&M play football. He is somewhat connected but largely doesn't know shite.
2. Brent Zwerneman - The longtime Houston Chronicle A&M beat writer, Brent Z is respected journalist and easily the most well adjusted human on this list. He is not an Aggie and probably the only actual "journalist" I've listed. Most famous for breaking the UT to the SEC story recently, he has clearly pissed off someone he once got scoop from because he hasn't known shite lately

William Liucci - a lock to the be the most controversial person on this list. He is the co owner of one of the largest fan sites on the internet. He has somehow updated his wardrobe to dress like a 20 year old college dropout in perpetuity for the last 15 years. He has almost certainly never worked an honest day in his life. But his connections to the AD remain solid, and while they've waffled some in the past, he broke the Jimbo shocker and teased the Stoops thing Friday night before it was on anyone's radar (and national media ran with it). You don't have to like him, but you better respect him (or he will ban you).

I saw an interview with Liucci and he said he was Dan Campbell's roommate in college and they are still best friends. Did Liucci play football at A&M?

Perroni only ever covered recruiting and sadly took another role with 247 and doesn't cover A&M anymore. He was good at what he did and seems like a legit good dude.
