LSU isn't going to be retarded and fire Les Miles. He won a national title for you guys.

I hate this logic. Look, i love the national title. Im not discarding it. But are we going to act like Les didnt do that season, the same shite he does every season? Lose MULTIPLE games to teams he shouldnt have. If the stars wouldnt have aligned in a way that theyve never aligned for any other team in college football history, would we have already fired the dude after 2008?

247 and puff piece articles. Breaking out the big guns.

If we're being honest, Jimbo to LSU is probably less than 10%.

Your homerism is admirable but you have no ability to understand context.

It's widely speculated, if not assumed, that Jimbo would probably jump if LSU offered.

Mark and Jimbo have both lost control of the coaching search at Mizzou...

Any coach wanting the take the next step up would accept an opportunity at an upper tier SEC program over staying at Fsu. LSU > fsu.

really no telling at this point with Jimbo. The divorce may very well be a factor in his next move, or his decision to stay in Tally.

Oh, I agree it's probably not going to happen.

But I just heard Finebaum not 30 minutes ago say on his show that Jimbo would accept an offer from LSU in a New York minute.

I'm paraphrasing but that's basically what he said.

So it isn't just LSU homers making such assertions.

Jimbo makes $5 mil a year, is under contract through 2022 and has a $5 mil buyout if he goes anywhere else. He is not going anywhere.

I know FSU fans don't want to hear it or think it could happen, but Jimbo did really enjoy LSU...he built his name at LSU

LSU is a little bigger beast than you may realize...relative to state passion, tradition, stadium, NFL factory, resources etc

It is said that no Head coach that ever left LSU didn't regret or miss it...

It just a unique deal... people have to experience it to understand

More like he won't. I can't understand why he doesn't take a step back.

I love how all the fanbases of other teams say that LSU would be crazy to fire Miles, but none of them would want him either. If i was a Bama fan I would want Miles to stay at LSU forever

I think Miles is a good coach. I just don't think he'll ever win another title with LSU. He's on a Mark Richt type path right now.

This goes with the "XXX has earned the right to go out when he wants to" which is stupid. What if the program steadily goes backwards? Would you allow the coach to leave when he wants to?

LSU fans are smoking crack if they think Jimbo is waiting for a call from LSU. Not say he doesn't end up at LSU, but the chances are probably sub 5-10%.
Gonna be one Sad FSU fan in about a month Jimbo is still connected quite well to Louisiana
