Apparently Rex is just completely defeated right now in his postgame PC

I'm not saying Rex is a good coach, but the construction of that roster has been completely fricked for like four years running. I'm sure he has a good amount of input on it but the blame should be going all the way to the top for the dumpster fire they've become

My guess is it will be an offensive guy. Maybe Greg Roman or Gase? I could see the Jets rolling the dice on a offense minded college guy like the Eagles.

Love Rex, but he really shows his ineptitude regarding the offense. He knows defense like the bottom of his wife's feet, but offense is foreign language to him. It has was almost completely ignored in the draft, preferring to invest a lot on defense instead. The GMs need to be blamed too, but Rex is also responsible.

At this point he brings nothing special to the Jets. For as much as they've invested on defense, it should be good regardless of who coaches them. They do fight like hell for Rex, which is why I'll always be a fan of him. John Idzik got them out of cap hell, but they whiffed on some picks in his tenure so far and decided to pass up good free agents for bottom barrel ones. Then makes a overreactionary trade for Harvin when it didn't matter. Them using all 12 draft picks instead of moving up is pretty damning, especially when several were cut.

I'd definitely like to see an offensive coach, so they can just hire a good DC. Not sure I'd like for them to part with a 1st for Harbaugh, but it might be the play.

Fortunately the brain trust who drafted Gholston is no longer in the league.

DL has been a great spot for the Jets under Rex, partly because there's 2 1st rounders there. Should get a lot of credit for developing Snacks Harrison, one of the best NGs in the game.
