How do you know they wouldn't give him a look?

Well, you are making the statement that I can go look at a list of all teams in the NCAA and take my pick. So you don't know but yet you are making statements like that

Every Bama poster on here is praying we hire O. What's that tell ya?

They scared of O
ETA: but seriously, every bama person on here is a moron so I take their opinions with a grain of salt

90% of schools in the country couldn't pay him more than he makes now to be their hc. Why would he leave to make less money?
And bdp is worthless

quote:It's not just Bama fans. Did you listen to the announcers Saturday? I'm not saying announcers are golden or anything, but O is the emotional choice. It's a dangerous hire for LSU. You can disagree if you want. But thinking O is a the best choice is very much in the minority. That's just a fact. Maybe you disagree with the majority. That's cool.

Because I see the results of his coaching on the field
Posted on 11/14/16 at 12:57 pm to abellsujr
I don't think o should be the first choice but Herman ain't coming here and fisher going to be a damn tough pull. Miss on those 2 and then what? That's what I am trying to process in my head. All other options are a big risk, if not more than o

quote:Fleck could make more here as an OC. If he really wanted to be a head coach, he would know that he probably needs to take a smaller job first. Unless one wasn't offered. It's worth questioning I think.

I wouldn't say great but better. But I know O has been on his arse to do better and do things differently

He is a good recruiter, I should t have said worthless

quote:Personally, I would rather take the risk with a guy like Aranda who we know at the very least can coach the shite out of a defense. Get him some good recruiting coordinators and give him a shot. But yea, Herman and Jimbo are the best choices. At least you're not as bad as a lot of fans out there.

I wouldn't mind aranda. I think he has the potential to be a great hc. If it's not with lsu, it will be with someone else in the near future. He is way too brilliant to not be scooped up by someone
Posted on 11/14/16 at 1:06 pm to abellsujr
I'm worried that the admin is going to knee jerk this hire and bring in someone that's so offensive minded that our defense goes to shite and we turn into Texas am. I hope they don't go too extreme on that end of things
Posted on 11/14/16 at 1:07 pm to redfieldk717
quote:The point I'm trying to make is I'm just saying we can't let these past few games decide our future. Excitement can fade. O is exciting for some. He's pumping up the players. I just think we need to look at the big picture. If Aranda leaves, we have to try and find another elite DC or we have no shot with teams like Bama. We have to be careful making decisions based on emotion.
I wouldn't say great but better.
Posted on 11/14/16 at 1:08 pm to abellsujr
I wouldn't hire any hc that refuses to keep aranda
