Since Charlie Strong will soon be available, does LSU offer him?

Since LSU will whiff on Herman and Fisher, do they go after Strong?
Wouldn't be a bad hire IMO. No one is going to be successful at Texas for a while, not his fault.

Actually had that thought today.... guy can coach. Unfortunately for Texas, they held onto Mac for too long and are in full dumpster mode now. Outside of a few elite level talents, they are severely lacking talent right now.

That team is an absolute mess, but Strong has not done enough to turn that ship around.

I actually like this a lot. Texas was in the same ship lsu was close to being in by hanging onto a coach too long. The coach coming in here would be in much better shape than strong was when he got to UT then they had such attitudes he had to clean house the first year completely.

I tend to agree with that and he would be someone that should be given consideration (if we miss on Herman). He should be in that second tier with Mullen, Fisher, Peterson, and Fedora.
