Have you Miles supporters forgotten how we lost the Kentucky game? Last year's Auburn game? Tennessee 2005 (including that time-out after a change of possession)? And let's go ahead and throw in that call at the end of this year's Auburn win.

There are some roundabout excuses for all of these, but to me, it's a sure fact that Miles is one of the least intelligent and one of the worst tacticians in D-I football.

Yeah, his W-L record is amazing and it's clear that the players love him, but how can you forgive him for any of his extraordinary blunders?

Can SOuth Carilina Fans forgive SPurrier to losing to Clemson again, to Vandy

Can USC fans gforgive Carroll for losing to Standofrd

Can Auburn Fans forgive Tubby for Losing to Miss State to SOuth FLorida and to Arkansas last year

Archer, Hallman and Dinardo...or 3 straight 10 win seasons...what would anyone with a brain pick?

What was wrong with that call? Flynn was a little slow coming off the play. That play was iniated by Crowton by the way. I guess he sucks too now

I have, indeed forgotton how we got into the National Chamionship game. And I don't care to remember.

Last year's Auburn game?

That would be 5 of the worst officiating calls made all year.

Most NFL and NCAA coaches that were asked about it said they would have tried for the endzone before relying on a 40 yd kick. Not Miles fualt that Flynn didn't snap the ball 3 seconds earlier. Still had 4 seconds on the clock for the FG attempt.

All coaches make mistakes.

Yet another fine example of how you can never underestimate the stupidity of some people...

TRULY UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I fail to see why Miles should be held personally responsible for each and every loss whereas other coaches are not. Saban averaged one confounding, embarassing loss every single year with the exception of 2003.

I give up. Without his imperfections, LSU football wouldn't be as exciting.

Until Miles goes 60 - 0 I'm still out on how well he can coach. Beating Spurrier, Saban, Myers, and playing in the Champ. proves nothing.

Pete Carroll lost to USC's very inferior archrival last year and blew the opportunity to play for the NC. He lost this year to STANFORD and again misses the BCS game because of it.

Stoops loses to Texas Tech and Colorado, and blows an opportunity to play for the NC.

Rodriguez is a sure fire thing for the NC and blows it with a loss to Pitt, a team with a losing record.

Ohio State nearly blew it because of a timeout in the Illinois game that gave Illinois a chance to go for it on 4th down and it results in a loss.

Saban loses to ULM, (that's right, ULM, formerly Northeast Louisiana).

And you are complaining about losing to Kentucky and Tennessee (after Katrina and Rita, and in his second game at LSU at that). Wow. What coach would you really rather have because all of them have laid their share of eggs along the way, and as recently as this season.

Are you serious? Three straight 10 plus win seasons and one game from a National Championship and you are complaining.

What did you call the loss to a mediocre Florida team in 2003 if not embarassing and confounding?

I think you pretty much answered your own questions...W-L Record amazing...Players love him...You obviously lied about your age...you can't be that old and that stupid...

No coach has ever done this yet we call them great. We expect too much. We will never win the national title year after year. Just get that simple fact in your head and you will appreciate a good coach more. How many did Spurier have at Florida? People think he is great. Saban? We consider guys great who really have not done much more than Miles so far. He wins this title, they did what he did, yet they are still great he is not. We expect too much.

Ive said it before, think what you want about Miles but the facts are the facts. The facts are that he has an amazing record that most coaches would dream for. When is 10 win seasons not good enough. All I have to say is Nebraska fired a coach after a 9 win season and its still not right. So easy on Miles, he's done a damn fine job and we are in the National Championship game. By the way Havent we one the Peach Bowl, The Sugar Bowl, and a SEC championship under him. What more do the Miles haters want. Its all about the big picture fellas not the bumps along the way.
