@smillerdegnan: Mark Richt is indeed in Miami today and was with Blake in the early afternoon. More than one person thinks the job is his if he wants it.

Depends on if they offer him or Mullen first.

It would make sense, it relatively close to Athens, and has an easier path to the playoffs being ACC.

I'd rather Dan Mullen

Seems if Blake has been with Richt, then Mullen talk could be BS

Richt seems to make the most sense given his connections there but who knows.

If Richt goes to Miami, would Mullin go to Maryland?

if he wants it, and why wouldn't he. he's an alum, would connect with the recruiting base.

probably the second best job at the moment behind uga. theU may lack in some areas, but that recruiting base is outstanding.

I would think he'd jump at that. He's a Miami alum if I'm not mistaken.

You could definitely argue South Carolina. Better facilities, significantly better support from the university and fanbase, I would imagine they would offer more money to the same coach but that's just speculation. Golden was making like 2 mil. Recruiting area for the U is obviously better.

And the recruiting area is recruited heavily by pretty much every major school in the country, too.

I might also add Missouri to the list, even though I don't think it's that interesting a gig. Big, respected school in the SEC east that got to the SECCG twice already, but probably won't have absurd expectations. Pinkel was making over 4.
