With DeBoer hired by Bama, most expect he’ll bring his OC with him. I can’t see Tommy Rees taking a demotion to QB coach at Bama. Does anyone anticipate Kelly going after his former OC for open position at LSU?

Hire him as the QB coach here. No way we let Sloan walk imo…

Why?

You lose Sloan, you lose Underwood. That is a fact. Also Sloan was just QB coach for the Heisman.

I think Rees turning BK down when he was looking for an OC when he arrived at LSU has sealed Rees fate. Dont think we have to worry about Rees.

That’s what I was thinking. He chose Bama over following him to LSU,

not really. he chose to stay and ND and Freeman ran him off after one yr. BK encouraged him to go to Bama and IIRC Saban called BK for a reference.

Maybe as an analyst, not as OC.

Once again, I just like to point out that Rees has been the OC pick by Saban, Feeman, and Kelly.

It’s so hard to know which one to trust.

So hire him to take Sloan's job, but don't let Sloan walk? How does that work in your mind?

Do you realize that Sloan is the QB coach? And that the OC will coach a position?

Yeah let us remove Sloan from coaching QBs, who just coached the Heisman-winning QB to give to Rees who just coached Milroe to close his eyes and throw it deep. And just for good measure, lose our 5 star QB.

Sloan will get a decent job if you let him walk. Not like LSU, but no doubt he’s been contacted.

I’d rather keep things in line and give him a shot here if he wants it
