Absolutely. He is getting fricked in this deal....BIG TIME.

IF Texas is negotiating with Herman with intentions to keep Strong if the money doesn't work out, good luck to Texas ever getting another big name again.

They already fricked Mack Brown with the Muschamp coach in waiting bullshite they forced Mac to eat and now this.
They'll be trying to get dam Watson Brown before long.

That's not what happened though.

It was more like. He got hired, some were already against him. Rumors of being fired started after Season 1. He got no favors from Texas. Don't be a homer.

If lsu was the cesspool Texas was before said coach started, I'd consider the situation before crying foul. Texas had its biggest booster publicly expressing dissatisfaction about strong before he even coached a game. Classy.

Eta: the ad was even caught screwing up financial shite, then you replaced him with a booster puppet....Texas is a fricking mess, and everyone just keeps getting angrier and angrier over there.

The way Texas has handled the head coaching situation since Mack's last season has been a complete joke.

It has to be a major red flag for any prospective coach.

Yeah, that poor fricking millionaire who managed a losing record at a school that had all of the resources and great recruiting. I weep for him.

Chris Peterson has the same amount of time, entered a similar situation, and has his team looking a tiny bit more solid.

hes about to get paid 10.5 to leave....... let that sink in, someone will play him over 10 million to not work.... he will get no sympathy from me, he will receive my admiration for arriving at such an arrangement
