Person I feel for the most in this whole situation is Charlie Strong

I mean whether you think he deserves to be fired or not he does not deserve this. The loss to Kansas basically sealed his fate but the way Texas let him hang out to dry is appalling. He had to go into his Monday presser answering questions about his job status after mult. reports says he is shite canned. AD then says they will evaluate his job status after the season. All the while the big boosters are going after Herman. Player reportedly threaten to boycott the TCU game if Strong is fired. UT is a dumpster fire.

I think Strong will be a good coach somewhere. No one can run that Texas shite show efficiently.

Hell super booster Red Mccombs basically said when Strong was fired he didn't want him. He was not HC material. Strong had no chance from the beginning.

Texas gave Strong 1 year before they turned on him. Les got 5 years to right the ship.

Coach O is not the permanentlsu head coach. He's the interim head coach. You have no idea if he's been strung along

You're dumb as frick if you think it's the same. Les Miles had coached at lsu for a decade, Texas cried like spoiled brats after 2.5 seasons.

They were unhappy with him before year 1. Remember Red McCombs comments about him being more suited to be a position coach?

I know, Strong was like Herman as he was the next can't miss superstar coach, but he wasn't. Instead, he was a bust. Same thing could happen to Herman as well. There are no guarantees in the coaching profession.
