Sucks for CU given how big of a step forward it just took thanks in large part to Leavitt's work.

Same

As did most of us, as evidenced by the comments thus far. Am I the only one who feels that without a doubt that is precisely why the OP did that? I mean, does the Oregon DC hire really qualify for a thread title to be lead with "BREAKING!" ?

Leavitt will be able to go to a 3-4 fairly easy. We just converted.

Ducks gonna play some defense next year. They'll be back atop the PAC 12. Both hires for Oregon were good

I wonder how much of a raise he got? I'm biased because I remember when Colorado was elite, but this is a lateral move at best from my perspective.

Don't know the details but said to be highest paid coordinator on either side of the ball in the Pac.

Leavitt said they're going to get a stranglehold on PAC12 offenses and really slap them around.

Did this news just break?

If it did then does that affirm that Oregon was one of the P5 teams that M. Canada turned down?

Canada's an OC, they just hired a DC.

So, I'll go out on a limb and say they weren't one of the teams.

Agreed that he can coach defense, but he is a human ticking time bomb that could explode and get him fired again like he did at USF.

Leavitt is a complete nutjob. Only a matter of time before he does something fireable again
