Also makes sense since Miss doesn't run the ball.

Most spread uptempo coaches look a little light in the loafers, not that guy.

He's always been more pass-happy than Malzahn. He's never had a RB that was worth a damn in the SEC.

Thing is, if he did have a great RB, that offense would be really tough to stop.

He wouldn't know what to do with one if he had him.

Ole Miss was a majority run offense during Hugh's first 2 years when Jeff Scott was healthy. Hugh will play to the strength. With Chad and our WR corps we obviously became a passing team

Old Piss can't run the ball to save there lives. Will Shea run and get hammered or throw the ball 50 times a game? Good luck with that game plan.

Just reading up on who that is, Jesus! I like Canada and hope he can be more spread for us, but this guy Longo runs a freaking awesome offense! Air raid, but with a definite run game.

Ole Miss has ridiculous talent at WR and with a decent RB paired with Patterson's rushing, they'll be way more of a force than in recent years.

ETA: This is why I wasn't caring about LSU making a splash hire at OC, but rather a smart and innovative one. Canada seems like he could be a great pick, but I would have had no problems with LSU going to the lower ranks to grab a guy. Franklin went and got the HC from the FCS for his OC, and in his first year Penn St is 11-2, beat Ohio St, won the Big 10 championship, and is going to the Rose Bowl (should have been playoff IMO). Their QB Mcsorley broke Penn St offensive records as a first year starter.

You'd rather the southland conference coach? Great analysis.

I have to give y'all credit for the staff "O" is putting together. And to all the fans who only look at his Ole Miss days, well I believe he was in over his head at the time and has now had plenty of time to learn from his mistakes. With the staff he is setting y'all up with, all he really needs to be is a leader and a motivator and a great recruiter, which he is, and let his staff handle the x' s and o's.

It's always alot of fun when our two teams are both competitive. We can only hope and pray we get some kind of unfound fortune out of the two we hired. No they aren't big names but maybe they can make a decent name for themselves here.

I hope y'all have an injury free bowl game and best of luck going forward next year. I believe y'all have some good pieces falling in place
