Recently fired by the Tigers, Miles has hired an agent to help him land his next gig. According to The Advocate, Miles has hired Trace Armstrong to represent him. Armstrong also represents a slew of other top college coaches, including Ohio State’s Urban Meyer, Houston’s Tom Herman and Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly.

If he is going to Purdue, he could've save some money negotiated himself.

If you guys read the article, he hired an additional agent, while keeping his current agent as well. His new guy represents Herman, Kelly, and others.

i think the part about the agent being additional was update recently. i don't remember seeing anything about bass in the original article.

"I'm fighting like heck," he told The Advocate on Friday, "trying to win a championship at another place." Armstrong will soon begin working for Athletes First, a sports agency representing a host of NFL stars. He previously worked for Creative Artists Agency, where he worked closely with the man known to be the sport’s most successful agent, Jimmy Sexton. "I just think we're talking about broader coverage, a nation to represent," Miles said about the hiring of Armstrong. "I enjoy the fact we use guys to do similar things and different things."

He would be a good hire anywhere. He will probably be better in his next coaching gig because he will actually allow evolution on the offensive side of the ball.

Maybe he will go to Houston after Herman leaves. Inherit a high powered offense, develop a defense, and use his recruiting ties he already has in Houston in Louisiana.
