Is just about the last one I'd pick. They'll pay Herman 20 million if they have to.
It sucks, but I think we can kiss him goodbye if teh reports are true.
Too bad. LSU is a better job anyway. Texas has sucked through multiple coaches and has way too many in-state recruiting rivals.

And Herman will have a short rope at Texas. If the longhorns lose to Oklahoma next year, he is automatically on the chopping block. That's how bat shite crazy their boosters are.

Ever since they lost to Bama with Colt's daddy pulling him out of the game so that he could be safe to suck in the NFL, Texas has gone completely to shite.
I'd much rather coach at LSU. Austin is a nice place, but their boosters are fricking nuts and and our women are way better looking.

herman will pick where he wants to go based on everything other than money. the money that top schools bring in negates any advantage relative to the head coaching salary market.
texas will pay herman around 6 mil. 15+ other programs could do the same.

+1. Their obnoxious fan base has helped ruin that once great program built by Daryl K royal. I live here in Austin and have to see it 1st hand. Hell I got my MBA from UT and have been to just as many UT games as LSU games since 2005. UT is the perfect example that all the money in the world doesn't necessarily translate into success. Their top boosters are psychotic.
