What do you think this means? I just can't imagine what could have been so unexpected that he could have brought to the table. (No need for trapper keeper jokes)

I read it as he literally blew the doors of the hinges, created BR jobs Keynes style. Krugman would be proud. Enough with the econ jokes.

He laid out a plan (with secured OC). It is not like he has not had time to get this together. He has known this was coming since September.

It's bullshite. They say this same thing every time there is a coaching search whether it's in college football or the NBA.

There is always some coach who "blows away" the people doing the interview.

It's the #1 BS line you hear when there is a coaching search.

He went in and guaranteed his coordinators would be Aranda and Kiffin.

There's a better chance of him ending up with neither than both.

It means both Jimbo and Herman played us and Joe had to find a way to spin hiring O as more than what it was....settling for plan C

how in the ever living frick could he blow the doors off the interview if the primary concern was keeping a lot of the staff? what changes could he really promise outside of the OC?

Yeah, great news!

Rutgers made a similar decision, no joke, when Chris Ash "blew the doors off" during his interview! And we've all seen how successful that decision was!

It means he came in, said "I'll take half the money these other cats want". Then he dropped the mic and walked out.

Money always talks loudest.

it makes no sense.

And really, his "interview" should also be his fricking coaching record.

but I guess it doesn't matter now....
