O gave frank Wilson and Dennis Johnson’s their start. No one knew who joe brady was until O hired him. He will find another good coach.
The main thing is keeping the talent rolling in. Coaches look really good when they have great talent to work with.

He better find an OC. Otherwise we’re back to 8-4 or 9-3 seasons

Les got fired because this absolutely isn’t true.
You need good coaching.

Les played for two n.c’s and won one. That is what talent can do for a coach.
Just trust O. He found coaches and players to win us a natty with in three years. Brady isn’t the only coach out there that can coach the spread.

It’s pretty obvious it didn’t matter who was coaching for Les, they we’re being inhibited.
OP is right. Players make schemes look ingenious.

Damn people. It’s not all one or the other. You have to have BOTH talent AND coaching. This is not a mystery.
Look at it this way. Orgeron was coming off an 11 win, top 10 season with a NY6 Bowl win last year and shook things up instead of sitting still. I’m so impressed by that move. He didn’t have to do it. He could have just put it on cruise control and kept doing what we were doing but he didn’t, and now we have a title because of it.
Based on that, I don’t see O getting complacent here. He’s going to hire someone he trusts to keep things moving forward. That is no guarantee of success going forward, but this mindset gives us a better chance than complacency would.
Right now, what happens hinges on whether Steve is thinking about retirement or not. If he isn’t, I imagine they will try to find someone who will work with Steve to fill Brady’s role and keep running the same system next year. Maybe that’s Munoz, maybe it’s someone outside the program.
If Steve does want to retire, no one could blame him. After winning it all and what his family has been though the last month, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he does. If that happens, then O has a much bigger decision to make. That would be really interesting.

And Les is a coach. So this is still a coaching issue.

Our scheme looked anything but Ingenious last year. Keep pretending Joe almost quadrupled his TDS because of spring camp.
Bad schemes can hamstring Great players.

The machine is in place. Bama hires a new OC every year and maintains. O will do the same.

Did o find Brady or Brady find him
Honestly there was a little luck involved
Didn't he come in to show lsu some things about the saints offense and that's when o approached coach e about hiring him?

I think they went to visit the Saints to learn more about their offense and Brady was the primary person working with them.

O wasn’t in the meeting. E and some of the offensive staff had Carmichael come in to discuss the Saints offense. He brought Brady with him. Brady got up and started drawing all this RPO concept stuff on the white board that really impressed E. E told O they needed to hire him. Rest is history.

WTF? Why would you use an apostrophe and an s in this sentence? I think your IQ is dos.

What if his phone did it accidentally and he isn't anal about it like you.

Hopefully, just promote Jorge Munoz to passing game coordinator since he used to coach wide receivers and coach QBs.
Moreover, someone young needs to be mentored to take over for Coach E when he retires in four or five years.

O didn't find Brady. Ensminger did at a conference and convinced O to hire him.

Thanks for elaborating. I just knew a meeting took place and Brady was there. It’s amazing how worried out fanbase is that Steve might still be playing a leading role in the offense when he had the foresight to recommend such a move.

Promote Munoz and roll with him and E.

Not sold on Munoz calling the shots.. but idk who else is a legitimate candidate. Wouldn’t be horrible disgusted with the hire but I think we can do better
