bullshite. He left Wisky because they didn't give a shite about football. Kept having to learn and look for new assistants every year. It wasn't out of the goodness of his heart.

Nah. I just see it's a good match for Nebraska and Bert. Bert doesn't get to be stomped in the SEC West anymore and can use a style that works in the B1G better.

Nebraska fans should be elated to get a coach who dominated at Wisconsin.

Would Wisconsin folks then have that jaded lover/the one who got away mentality that LSU fans have when it comes to Saban?

I saw yall win 2 conference games and pound your chest about it.

Arkansas hasn't won an SEC title since ever for a reason. Your program is similar to Nebraska's. Not enough recruits close to campus to compete. The only difference is yall compete with the SEC West and Nebraska gets to play Purdue and Northwestern.

On a conference call with local media on Wednesday, Bret Bielema was asked about his commitment to Arkansas, saying, “I took this opportunity without anybody knowing about it or hearing about it. … I’m not one of those coaches that gets my name involved or anything like that. When I started talking to Arkansas, I told them, ‘If my name comes out in a way other than my own release, then I’m going to be out of this conversation.' It’s just how I’ve always operated. … I can't tell you how excited I am for next year. Obviously, my commitment to Arkansas is long-term." Bielema also said raises and other compensation are coming for his assistant coaches.

I admire how hard you're trying to make yourself believe there's a chance bert might leave the SEC

but face it, bert's not going anywhere. the SEC is fricked

oh and I found your problem

He gone. SEC was too much for him. He wants to play against Wisky and his alma mater, Iowa every year. Guess its time for Gus or Houston Dale to come on back home. He gone.

Being able to pay them more and being able to retain them are the same thing. He wasn't getting any money to pay them more at Wisconsin, so they left. Then he left for somewhere that would let him pay to retain his assistants.

Speaking of that, Bielema just mentioned that the assistant coaches are getting raises soon.

Saban was a NC-winning coach and one of the hottest names in the sport. Bielema is not on that level.
