This would not be a popular hire among Nebraska fans, that's for sure.
he is a solid coach, and his Big 10 record is solid with hardware!
Nebraska has more tradition and it would make sense he could do better there than he did at Wisky.
you see the progress he is building at Arkansas.

However, he will probably get a raise out of this if he stays.

Was it not a surprise when Bielema took the Arky job?
oh hi cz. miss seeing you on the rant. You must be in the middle of a 17 day break so you can come back when you have 0 to worry about
but yes it was a surprise. however with bert's name being linked to NU now it ruins the surprise.

Beating LSU is a big deal
MSU became the #1 ranked team shortly after beating LSU

Butch Jones just got a raise for going 6-6, Kevin Sumlin makes $5 million and teams are falling over themselves to pay a DC $1.5 million so I would say we're already slightly past that point

this is true
but if he doesn't and only increases his assistants pay....

Why would Bert leave Wisconsin for Arkansas only to bolt for Nebraska. Nebraska is a step down from Wisconsin at this point. He'd be looking to set the program up to the level he left Wisconsin at. He'd basically just be admitting leaving Madison was a huge mistake, which it was.

LOL, would be epic melts all around

Give me one good reason besides his SEC conference record. He was given a shite team and has them on the road to respectability in the toughest division in CFB.
Richt is an underachieving coach. Why is he top choice? So you can watch him do the same as Bo? As a matter of fact, Bo had better records than Richt. This isn't 2002-2007 anymore back when Richt was worth a frick.
Tressel I can't argue with. Would be a great hire.
Tressel and Bielema are the top 2 in my mind.
Nebraska fans should be elated to get a coach who dominated at Wisconsin.

No it fricking isn't. NEbraska still pays top $ for assistants and has great facilities. Wisconsin is too damn liberal to do any of that shite.
His pocket book doesn't say leaving wisconsin was a mistake.

That says it all. I don't want someone who previously coached the enemy against us. frick that noise. At least Richt is from Nebraska.

it makes no sense for him to leave here and go to nebraska.
1. he came here for the warmer weather
2. ozark mountains >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> flat arse corn fields
3. he came here to compete against the best
4. he came here so he could pay his assistants more
5. lol @ SEC fans drooling over the thought of Arkansas losing bert. tFear is real
in conclusion bert's not going anywhere. SEC fuuuuucked

Another fan base that would melt by this: Iowa fans. They want Ferentz gone and Bielema played there. Having Bielema coach Nebraska, arguably Iowa's biggest rival, would be hilarious.
I think this would be a great hire by Nebraska. Bielema did a great job this year and in any other division, he probably wins 8-9 games.

Why the frick does this matter?
Oh god, is Nebraska becoming like Michigan needing a "Nebraska man?"
Good luck with Scott Frost or Turner Gill then.
