Muschamp Targeting Frank Wilson

No link, but Gator boards saying Muschamp is going after Frank the Tank as one of his assistants.
I'd say its fairly unlikely he gets away from Louisiana, but it may position him for a nice raise and title bump.

I often assume that rumors like this are done by agents who want to get their clients' a raise...

and i have to believe wont get the promotion at UF. cant hire a puppet OC when your head coach is defensive minded.

Frank will probably be Associate HC or something or other next year and make an extra 100k.

If Frank Wilson can help lock down Louisiana talent, he is worth whatever we pay him. Les has to have vastly superior talent to beat bad teams by a FG at the end of regulation. If he doesn't have this talent, we are toast.
Frank Wilson is way more important than Crowton at this point. Pay him.

I'd say both.
His recruiting prowess/knowledge is highly valuable.
His coaching was excellent, particularly that he didn't go with a wild, nonsensical RB rotation.

Since he has been at LSU when we had the most talented teams in the country 05,06,07 we lost 2 games. 2 lost Less, will lose 2, some how

One could argue that this year Miles did one of his best HC jobs since he's been here considering the fact LSU has No offense and they still got 10 with a chance at 11.
However NO One could argue keeping Crouton in 11 and letting Wilson get away.
If those 2 things happen you can count me in the full out assault/meltdown that would occur towards Miles (Since he is solely responsible for the staff per the AD)

Frank Wilson needs to be on the LSU staff for eternity. I'm not for administration getting involved in decisions on assistant coaches, but if Les were to leave, Alleva needs to make it known to possible replacements that Wilson will be part of the staff if he wants to.
He's the best recruiter of Louisiana in the country, he is gold as far as I'm concerned.
