Have to think that's why he hasn't settled on a DC contract yet. Still waiting to see what's available.

That would not be a good hire for Coog High IMO. Unless he decides to scrap ball control.

Don't like it for either really (admittedly biased as I want him at AU).

Houston would be in for a style shock, and if Muschamp can't get it rolling there he's really set back in HC ambitions.

it's possible actually. He's in a unique position where he can get pretty much any DC job he wants. There's really no reason to jump on the first one he's offered.

Wouldn't be a bad move for Boom. Prove you can win as a head coach at a small school and get a bigger job in a couple years.

Boom is not returning to AU - except as a visiting coach. Auburn is being used as leverage for more $$.

He doesn't, he's just taken this position from the beginning and acknowledged he has a 50-50 shot at being correct and then he'll get to tout his prediction.

Terrible fit for both sides. Their roster is built for up tempo spread football. It would take a while to turn the roster over and implement his style which would reflect poorly on him

Has Muschamp's name been brought up at Michigan?

I'm guessing slack is assuming Les takes Chief with him.

Same problem as UF. They like their offense too much at Houston. He would be moderately successful, but no one would be happy 2 or 3 years from now.

Can Houston do better than Muschamp?

I still think Muschamp is a much better fit as a DC, not as a head coach.

Whatever trips your trigger Corky.

I won't tout anything - right or wrong. I don't need internet cred to feel like a man. I'm just telling you, Boom won't be Jacobs bitch after their last dance. But, if he does he'll be just that- JJ's bitch.

Once we find a HC, then we could consider him as DC...

that's what you mean right?
