Flint is a good hire if this is who it turns out to be. I think he's ready for the big time to be the guy.

Some will be happy but it was a game changing hire when Saban nabbed him and he’s been fixture of the golden era

He was a dynamite hire and has been a great tiger for sure.

I was ready for new blood in this department though

Don’t think it’s wrong to want some new blood…I think it became a culture problem in general here and Ed didn’t really empower him the way his previous two coaches did.

Feldman and Brodie Miller confirming on Twitter that Moffit is officially out

SOURCES: Brian Kelly let go of LSU’s longtime strength and conditioning coach Tommy Moffitt, who helped spark the football program to 3 national titles, sources tell me and @BrodyAMiller. Moffitt's tenure began in 2000. He is the first LSU staffer who has been informed he’s out.

As much as this week has often been about Notre Dame coaches staying, this might open the door for strength coach Jake Flint to lead his own program. He’s been a pillar of the Irish weight room the past 12 years. One of the best.
