would be so funny to me if a nickname this board created would stick while he was coaching another school

Interesting concept for Les. Franklin did more at Vandy than any coach I have seen in my life: young, energetic, and had charisma, plus recruited incredibly well there by Vandy norms. He has not done well at Penn State.

He's not a Big 10 fit (Franklin, I mean). I think he could make Kentucky great though, plus they are at least trying to build facilities and pump money into the football program. He can't run what he wants at a school like the Big 10 because those Big 10 country guys aren't the same. It's Rich Rod all over again.

He'd recruit well there and would give them a good guy to smooth over the joe pa scandal. Probably could win 9 games a year just with recruiting like he did here.

Problem is he'd have to play Michigan. I really don't think he wants to.

I think miles has to be at a school he can recruit at. That's his best skill and what's responsible for his success at Lsu.

Oh, I guess I wasn't making that clear enough. I was talking about Franklin.

ETA: I do think Miles is a fit at a school like Penn St, but I don't know if they'll be satisfied with 8-9 wins a year (bowl game included).

i honestly dont think this is right. To run what Les wants to run, he needs behemoths on the Oline. That might be better suited to recruiting in the north. I'm convinced Olineman in the north are much more talented than down here, and larger. Although i have nothing to back that up

Bc he had to rebuild his team after the sanctions. He had few OL for one thing. The sanctions were lifted but the damage was done. He deserves more time.
