Watching CFB Live, and Booger and David Pollack are saying that James Franklin should be fired and they should go after Miles since "he fits in the Big 10". Interesting thought..

Coaching changes board, but it is a reasonable idea. Can't imagine Miles would have gotten any less out of Hackenberg than Franklin did.

Perfect, boring style of play executed by players in the most boring uniforms in college football

Interesting concept for Les. Franklin did more at Vandy than any coach I have seen in my life: young, energetic, and had charisma, plus recruited incredibly well there by Vandy norms. He has not done well at Penn State.

It would be an excellent place for him. Enthusiastic fan base but devoid of absurd expectations, fertile recruiting ground in Pennsylvania and W. Virginia, academically strong school to attract athletes who are also intelligent, and after the Paterno/Sandusky scandals a place that needs a squeaky clean guy like Miles.

If the salary amount was super low, LSU would likely have recourse

his inability to get his mind out of the Big 10 is probably what ultimately led to his being canned

Did you know that Les Miles was the coach at LSU and this is the Tiger rant? These facts make this appropriate for this board.

Contact whoever put you in charge of what can, and cannot be discussed on this board and have them fire you, mid season.

cool maybe wording covers that too? Just curious how you would police that in a contract.

Not at $100,000. But he can probably negotiate at the lower end of a range of reasonable numbers. Any evidence of an agreement to bump him up after the LSU payout ends could be a problem. But done in a way that doesn't push the envelope, it's probably a fine strategy for him and his next employer.
