Not sure if posted, apparently Mortensen said that while the NFL will allure Harbaugh, that ultimately the pull to come back "home" will be too much to turn down.

stay continued for e-live updates . . .

he's maintaining that JH will be da coach. Some of this is repeating what he posted earlier. Interview almost over.

I'm reading on the board that SF may offer him twice what UM can pay.

He would be crazy to pass up the NFL. His stock will never be higher. But, I can see why he'd want to go to Michigan.

I don't know how everyone else feels, but for the last two years I've kept saying although I really like Miles, I wouldn't be too upset if he left.

But now that it appears it might actually happen, I'm getting a little sentimental. I really don't want to lose Miles and change the status quo right now. it seems we've got a good thing going, a solid coach, and the future is bright. I really don't want to lose Miles right now. I've grown pretty fond of him despite - and maybe even because of - his shortcomings. He has certainly become one of the "faces of college football" over the years.

frick the NFL. This is a chance to coach his alma mater and that opportunity may not present itself for him ever again.

Harbaugh is young. I doubt this will be his one chance at that job.

Most competitive people want to succeed at the highest level. That's the NFL.

It's an interesting argument to be made for both sides. He could spend 3 years in the NFL and try to get back into college, but Rocket has a good point in that it's hard to tell when he'd get another chance at his "dream job" (if true).

I hope JH goes to Michigan I don't want a clusterfrick like what goes down if he goes to the NFL.

Are there any decent head coaches available right now? We'll get stuck with someone like Kirby Smart.. best case scenario, Mike Leach
