Miles for the Long Haul?

First let me say I am sometimes critical of Miles, but looking at the big picture, I really hope he stays. But what if in order to stay, Miles demands new contract language that would make it dam near impossible to fire him. That way, he has job security until he is ready to retire. Who could live with this?

Alleva's telling him he'll give him a raise if he fires Crowton. That's the contract negotiations going on right now.
