He's a 61 year old .500 coach.
and he looks like he's 41. maybe that's what coaching at a school that doesn't care about winning will do

he's also leaving his home school and i believe the town where he grew up. his hippie/left coast attitude fit in perfectly with that area.

It's not like he spent his entire football career up there.

No one has any idea what he is gonna do here in Lincoln. I have the radio on now and they are already questioning the hire.

Mike Riley had 4 seasons with 9 or more wins in 14 years at Oregon State. Bo Pelini had 7 in 7 at Nebraska.

I'm shocked by that hire. I think it says more about how far Neb has fallen from a national perspective.

another peculiar hire by Nebraska in my opinion.

kind of reminds me of the Bill Callahan hire they had about 10 years ago?

Nebraska seems like the ultimate grass is always greener type school

they dump Solich because they are tired of winning 9 games a year and think they need to start passing more....then they get callahan and pass more....and suck

then they get Pelini who wins 9 games a year and basically has the personality of the Hulk....so now they hire a hippie coach because they want a nice guy
