I think what your going to see is McCarthy stay on staff til after the bowl game. In that time Tolberts season with the bills and maybe his future at Buffalo will be decided upon the hiring of a new coach up there That timeline will be early January

the latest that i've been told is that he's cleaned out his office, (and wilson moved in). techincally he's still on staff until his contract is up in january. however is no longer with the program, and will not be coaching at the bowl game.
