Jim o is not the kind of guy who is going to inspire a fan base. It's a very lackluster hire to get a high floor guy. I don't see jimbno beating Saban and I see him pulling at least one still ker a year against inferior teams.

Face to face bro is always best! Would you propose on a computer? The important meetings in life are live.

Yep, first thing he said to open the show. And this is something he's learned within the past 18 hours.

Not looking forward to the Letter from Alleva announcing the already very high yearly TAF fees are going to go exponentially higher.

I can see Jimbo beating Saban.

And maybe he wants the challenge of doing just that.

Plus seeing Joe Alleva on his knees begging Jimbo to come to LSU in person, may make Jimbo make an emotional decision.

Matt moscona doesn't know shite...I know a number of college coaches and the last person they want knowing anything is the press because they are paid to blab it everywhere. No one in the press will know until it's a done deal and they want us to know...

Really? If you had a secret would you share it with the media??? C'mon man!!!

Like him or not, he definitely seems to have his sources. Mentioned off the air that today's the day that planes are zipping around and they're really working to get the deal done. Said that the money they're offering Jimbo is insane. Mutual interest with both parties. In reference to the awesome offer LSU's presented, he said "If Jimbo doesn't leave FSU this season, he never will."

Im gonna be kind and say that you may not have discussed a job that pays you over 6 figures and has a number of contractual incentives and obligations.

If you have, apologies, but my experience is that people dont hand out "frick you" money via Skype.

So he says Herman to Texas is not done and Texas is making things hard for everyone. Does that mean Texas is interested in Jimbo too?

Yet they are too far up Jimbo's arse. I'm waiting for them to get Sexton'd, Herman ends up at Texas or Oregon, and LSU ends up with mother fricking Fedora or Gundy.

A $3m increase in our HC's salary would equal out to about $40 per season ticket holder to completely absorb the cost, which I HIGHLY doubt they'd pass 100% on to season ticket holders.

Sometimes the media can be used as a valuable catalyst for gauging fan base reaction/excitement.

This is just dumb, if true.

Anything north of 7 mill and I'd tell him to take a hike.

Sorry, Jimbo is not worth Saban money. Fact.

Hell I just checked and Saban doesn't even make 7 million. WTF.
