Think they could do worse assuming he has a Texas centric staff and a good OC hire. I didn’t hate him being linked with our job a couple years ago but it def would’ve been uninspiring as it kinda is now

I mean you can play it this way he lost to SOuth Carolina this year also. FWIW I think he is a good coach

Upgrade over Jimbo. Defenses will be nasty. On offense he will be dependent on his OC. A&M wants a competent coach.

A&M with NIL knows they’ll sign dudes. They want a competent head coach to be able to run everything.

sure the schedule is harder in the old SEC west, but that is changing going forward (and we're not sure how that will shake out).
but A&M will be willing to do anything Stoops wants/needs to get them over the hump.

at Kentucky, less they don't even know there is a football field on campus.

Stoops found some diamonds in the rough and developed guys. When he had talent at Miami and FSU his defenses were nasty. He will do well at TAMU.
