Haha not exactly.... I'll put it this way. The University calls him when they want money for things....he was in the room today when Gus was on campus.

Here's where you lose me. Gus is in AU at the moment. So for you to be right, he would have to have been in Ark earlier, flown back to AU, and been in his office late this afternoon all the while no one else knowing he was gone?
He's actually considering the job, but I'm not so sure he was in Arky today since he's been in AU this afternoon.

Hear me out. YES he is taking a pay cut. But that Arky state team is LOADED for next year. They return everyone. He goes there and goes 10-2 or 11-1 then gets a 2mill dollar job at a big school right after that....

Just messing with you Marty. I believe you. I am one AU fan that wanted him to stay and understand what was mostly wrong last year.
I feel he would have turned things around next year and more job offers come along. However, I am starting to believe his wife's youtube video was more harmful to him then I first gave it credit for. I now believe he feels he may have lost the trust of the players and also wants to get his chance to be a HC. I wish him well and have a high amount of respect for him no matter where ends up.

I agree that he likely considered it. He has a nucleus of good young coaches who have either played or coached for him who he could make a good staff out of at ASU. I am just hearing that he is staying put at the moment.

Not a janitor & definitely not an AU employee. Just a business man who has had the opportunity to form friendships with some asst coaches in CFB through business relationship. Those guys enjoy talking shop for some reason.
