Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple handful of OCs making over 7 figures within 5 years.
and when that happens, ADs and fans across the nation will have another reason to hate auburn (for getting the ball rolling too fast)
coaching salaries are getting more asinine by the day

is Malzahn ends up at Ark St it will have been a huge career mistake not taking a better job last year while his stock was sky high.

Is LSU that poor?

I just can't see this happening. Jonesboro is in Arkansas, but that is a long way from NWA and Fort Smith where Gus is from. Its over 4 hours driving time to Fayetteville/Springdale from Jonesboro.
Plus, its just a crap job.
If he takes Arkansas State, then he messed up not taking Vanderbilt. There's no question which is the better job.

Is Chiz & Auburn in any danger with the NCAA, or was that poster bullshitting?

He doesn't look very credible...

Current estimates are that Ark St has put over $800K in front of Gus. Stay tuned.

Did Franklins name pop up anywhere for consideration in a higher profile job?

Malzahn should take it, even with the paycut. Dude was exposed this season for the mediocre OC he is. He can do well in the Sun Belts, but outside of having a freak like Cam as his QB, his offenses won't cut it in the big leagues, even in the Big XII.

Heeeere we go...
I'm not gonna believe anything until I either hear it from Gus or a formal statement from the school.

I think dos douche fully believes in what he is writing. How ever had you said is that poster full of bullshitet? I would have said yes without hesitation.

laugh me out of here if you will (and I would have laughed at this earlier in the day), but I think he takes it. Based on a couple of conversations I've had there is a very legit chance he takes it. It sounds crazy, but he is currently considering the offer (and it's closer to $800K than $600K).
A bit shocked at the moment, but maybe he comes to his senses on it all.
