He has done some good things at Southern Miss and UNC and is an offensive minded coach. I'm not pumping him for the job I was just curious if you guys would be okay with him.

I've said throughout this year that he's who we'll end-up with. Wouldn't hate it.

Yeah I'd be ok with that. Especially if he could keep Arnada or bring Chiz with him to run the defense.

How can you go from a mad hat to a fedora?

I figured as much since most of you are on the Herman train. But Fedora's had some great offenses everywhere he goes.

He's had great offenses and terrible defenses

No, unfortunately I think we may end up with him but I hope not, he would be solid but very underwhlming

I rather give O a shot with a top notch OC and Aranda than Fedora

I love his offense; he could be just what we need. His defense, under Chiz, has been terrible. If he would come and keep our defensive staff I'm OK with it. If he brings Chiz not so much...

At this point rather than Fedora/Chiz I'd rather O/current D staff and a young/up-coming O Coordinator (Applewhite).

But let's see what O does. If he goes 4-4 he may not warrant a shot at Head Coach.

I don't get the lovefest for O. You would rather have a guy who has failed as a head coach than one who has been successful and has great offenses?

LSU better stay away from Auburn's back up plan

Failed and learned from his failures.

In his opening press conference he admitted and realized what his problems were at head coach at Ole miss which was trying to coach every position instead of delegating when it wasn't his bread and butter.

If he wins out would you not consider him? I know it's highly unlikely but it is still a possibility, if he brings wins he deserves a shot. Let a few weeks go by before you completely discredit someone.

Define "wins out". Are you talking going undefeated the whole way?

Why can I not use his past record at other schools to judge him?
