I just know Les is "A Michigan man" having played for Bo and as an assistant a long time there

If he was offered a serious offer I think he'd have to consider, although at his age it is tough to reinvent another program

Since your sister who works at Disney overheard that Fournette was going to Bama, can you ask her if she will let us know who will be the next LSU coach. Thanks.

Rich Rod
I don't want Les to go, but I think Rich Rod would be good here. I'm scared as shite that Alleva would be doing the hiring. There's more of a chance that we end up with Jerry Kill or some shite than someone who we all would be excited about.

Briles-wouldn't leave
Patterson-doubt he leaves
Fisher-doubt he leaves

If LSU hires Rich Rodriguez I'll vomit. His stuff didn't work in the weak Big 10 why the hell would it work in the SEC

Who would LSU target if Les decides to ride off into the sunset with Michigan?

Some coach from the ACC or mid-tier Big 10/Big 12.

No established top coach in their right mind would take the LSU job.

Realistic candidates: (Rich Rod/Ruffin would be excellent)
Jimbo
Rich Rod
Ruffin McNeill (ECU)
McElwain (he gone)
Doc Holliday
Hudspeth

Jimbo

Why would he leave? He has built a lot of equity at FSU.

The rest of the list I agree is the realistic candidates.

Winston is gone.. and FSU looks like a program about to fall apart. President doesn't like their "image"

Before going the coordinator route, I would seriously consider the following (probably in this order):
1. Briles
2. Rich Rod
3. Dantonio
4. Brian Kelly

I think Briles and Rich Rod could hit the ground running at LSU. Rich understands Louisiana. I also think Rich's stint at Michigan is an exception on his resume. Briles could pull players out of Texas.

I would stay away from Jimbo and Mullen. Mullen puts Miles' clock management and game day blunders to shame. Jimbo is an embarassment to integrity and is right out of the Bowden mold.
