LSU football does need a change, whether it be in Les' philosophy, or in the head coaching position entirely. We now have to worry about not finishing last in the SEC West, much less beating Bama. I wouldn't be upset, if he left for Michigan.

another 10-3 season next year. Just enough to keep him here and pumpers saying well how many teams have a coach as good as les, and wait till next year while the gumps are adding another NC trophy to their case. Hey remember the 90's we should be happy we are in the outback bowl.

Not. He wins with talent, which is a testament to his recruiting, but I think LSU could still recruit well and do much better with a smarter coach. I've seen too many total bonehead blunders and talented teams get dominated like they're ooc cream puffs to think he is anything but a guy who rides top talent.

Maybe his replacement wouldn't be any good, or worse. Okay. So we fire him too, and then another, until LSU gets a solid, innovative coach again, just like we did not too long ago.

fine either way. seriously. Miles is a great recruiter, but the most hard-headed I have ever seen. If he stays, great. If he goes, i'll take our chances.

If he stays, he has to change his approach with QBs or he will continue to struggle against the Bama. If he is willing to be less stubborn with his offensive system, I would be okay with giving him a couple of more years to turn it around,

I think he's a very good coach, but with significant shortcomings in consistently game planning, in-game coaching, and getting the players ready to play, which will keep LSU from winning another title while he is here. I'm concerned about who LSU would hire to replace, but would be pretty indifferent if he leaves.

I admire those who genuinely want him to stay for the right reasons...those that want him to leave and see LSU fail just to point their finger at a bunch of internet ppl to say "i teauxld you seaux!" have slight issues upstairs

Good coach but I think he's lost his edge and a change would be mutually beneficial.

Go and I'll tell you why. At some point in almost every game you watch the game and day to yourself "where did that come from " sure you do that with other teams and coaches, but easy way too often it happens at LSU. I mean some serious head scratchers that really gets you thinking simply.....huh?

So I agree with some here and honestly I'm ready for a change. Im thankful with what he has done here don't get me wrong, but thinking about his family, if my son went to play ball at my Alma Matter, I would seriously consider sharing that with him.

He's a buffoon and constantly costs us games with his stubbornness.

If we didn't have superior athletes at every position except QB we would be garbage trash

He clearly gets out coached almost every game. His act and game plans have became very stale and a change is what might be best for the program. Say next year we go 9-4/10-3 and AJ continues at QB, would you pumpers be OK with that? Is third place or worse in your own division OK with y'all? How much longer do you honestly see this guy coaching?

Miles post 2011 = mediocrity at best.

With the QB's LSU may get in the next year, that would be the deciding factor of LSU's future.

I love me some Les Miles.

With that being said, if he gets those QB studs and we finish like this year, I think it would be time to move on.

The next 4 years would tell all we need to know about that.

You probably one of those guys that point to the 90's and say LSU should be happy to have a coach that gets 10 wins every other year. No one wants to see LSU fail here. We want to see an offense thats ranked say 30th in the nation more than once every 7 years. We want a coach that isnt stubborn to the point of stupidity when making ingame decisions. I think miles is a good coach and can be good again but the QB troubles and this offensive scheme maybe his downfall if adjustments aren't made.

First of all, I don't think he's leaving.

But it would be sweet justice for this spoiled fanbase just to see how difficult it is to replace a guy like that. Lightening strick twice for LSU when they were able to follow up Saban with Miles. We're bound for at least one bust in trying to follow up a coach like that, and it would be fitting to watch these delusional fans sit through a half decade of 5 to 6 win seasons.

At least it would be easier to park on campus for game days. Plus TAF couldn't raise ticket prices for a few years.
