His show cause expires in December of 2016. Hall of fame coach who will be 63. Do you think he'll coach again? id take another year of Miles if we put Tressel in a purple and gold sweater vest next year. Dont tell me he's too old, he's young enough to be Bill Snyder's son.

Not saying I'd want him, but he would make a good fallback candidate if things fell through with severa bigger names. He has baggage, but he was a decent recruiter and he won a lot of games at OSU.

You guys are acting like hall of fame coaches grow on trees. He's an elite coach. Better than almost all names ive been hearing. At least he was 5 years ago. Made a mistake and took the fall for the OSU program, but i dont think it was a pattern of wrongdoing.
Anyway, i think a lot of programs could do a lot worse than Tress. im kinda suprised a desperate program didnt snatch him up during the sanctions just to lock him down.

He makes $300k at Youngstown. I doubt he'd pass up a chance to make 4-5 mill.
