I didn't hear any details and I haven't heard that he has said yes or no. I'm also not sure what else Woodward is doing but I'm sure he has open communication with some other good coaches. I feel like Lincoln is a really hard pull, though - it's not about the money and it's not about opportunity, he just really loves OU and is very appreciative of what they've done for him. If it's Riley, Woodward is a dog whisperer.

I’m no legal eagle but can he even sign anything at this stage while still being under contract with OU?

I have some legal knowledge.

He can sign whatever the frick he wants. Oklahoma won't sue him.

Technically speaking, though, if anything is signed it's a memorandum of understanding, laying out the key terms, with the rest to be filled in later.
