These are the two top names that were just mentioned on talk radio. Don't see Kiffin leaving after one year in the pros. Don't understand Leach.

Lane Kippen?

You mean Lane Kiffin? I don't get why a guy would leave the NFL after one year to go to ARkansas.

Dear Christ,

I do not want leach playing in the SEC. His offense would be a pain in the arse to defend.

Now that Tubbs contract talks have taken a bit of a stall I think he is number 1.

they are insane. I can't see a dude leaving the NFL after one year. Call me crazy.

I think the "connection" with him is that his dad was once DC at Arkansas. Apparently that's enough to make one want to leave the NFL for the backwoods of Arkansas.

Kiffin because he hates working for Al Davis. He supposedly put out the feelers to Arkansas... we didn't pursue him. His dad worked under Broyles when he was a young pup so there's a small history there.

I have heard Tuberville is being talked to right now.

kiffin appears to be making some progress in Oakland though. with a solid D and a young QB waiting in the wings he'd be a fool to leave after one year. if he gets decent results in oakland in a few years he can probably use that to launch him to a better job

You act like the Kiffin's actually going to have a choice to stay in the NFL for more than a year....

If I were him and didn't get fired I'd quit.

I'd love to have him at Arkansas. He was a dominant offensive coach at USC and would be great in Fayetteville.

Leach too. We'd finally recruit some QB's.

The Kiffin thing is not rumors. Now whether it actually happens is one thing, but he is very much interested. Don't know the exact reason why but it's true.

Heard last night he has ties to the area but didn't hear how. Both those guys would be a gamble.

DC, hear anything on McFadden and/or Jones not playing in the bowl game?

hunh? Kiffin and Sarkisian were basically Co-OCs after Chow left

Kiffin got the Raiders job after Sarkisian turned it down

why isnt Arky going after Sarkisian?

I believe his father coached there back in the day.
